Our focus in Nicaragua has been in the north, toward the Honduran border. This area is Nueva Segovia, and has some of the better altitudes for coffee growing, along with Matagalpa and Jinotega. Nicaraguan coffees at their best are good wet-processed coffees with moderate acidity, attractive bittersweet flavors, and medium body. They don't have the fireworks, they aren't showy coffees, but they are so attractive and a real "crowd-pleaser."  [Click Here to read more in our Coffee Library].
