Central American coffees are often classic wet-processed beans with lively bright flavors, fruit and floral hints, and a medium to light body. There is no one Central American flavor, though, as each origin is diverse. There is a range of factors in the region that impact taste on a regional scale. For example, some regions are influenced by Pacific Ocean weather patterns, some have intensely volcanic soils, and others do not have any volcanic soil characteristics. So each growing region and each region within should be judged on its own merits. Find more photos, videos and information about Central American coffee in our Coffee Library.
