Returns Policy

We hope you are happy with your purchase from Sweet Maria's, though we cannot offer a "satisfaction guarantee" on merchandise or coffee. We ask that you read our product descriptions and make purchases in good faith knowing that we are being honest in our reviews. Please do not purchase items with the intention of returning: this is devastating to any small business! If you are unsure about an item, feel free to email or call us with questions before making your purchase.

 

Merchandise

 

Contact us at [email protected] if you’re considering a return, and let’s talk about what you’re experiencing. We do not want you to keep something that you are really unhappy with, but often we can advise you on the proper use of an item to resolve the issue at hand.

  • If an item is defective out of the box or DOA, we will exchange it or offer a full refund including outbound/return shipping incurred.
  • If an item is returned and is unused, in its original packaging, and functioning as intended, a refund will be issued back to the original payment method. We reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to 10% of the item’s value on a case by case basis. Outbound/Return shipping charges are non-refundable in this case. Return labels will be provided upon request, and the cost of which will be deducted from the final refund.
  • If an item is used or returned in less-than-new condition (say if the original box, packing materials, product manuals, or product accessories are missing/damaged), we will offer store credit based on condition. Outbound/Return shipping charges are not eligible for store credit in this case. Return labels will be provided upon request, and the cost of which will be deducted from the final refund.
  • Store credit will be issued for any merchandise returned after 30 days from the purchase date. Returns are not accepted after 60 days.

Clothing & Apparel

 

Contact us at [email protected] for assistance if you’re unsure about a piece of clothing or if you have questions about the size and fit. We are happy to help!

  • If a clothing or apparel item is damaged out of the box or has significant printing defects, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund including outbound/return shipping incurred.
  • If a clothing or apparel item has been worn or is returned in less-than-new condition (say if the fabric shows signs of stretching, has been stained, carries an odor, etc.), it will be ineligible for return/reimbursement.
  • If a clothing or apparel item is returned unused and shows no signs of having been worn, a refund will be issued back to the original payment method. We reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to 10% of the item’s value on a case by case basis. Outbound/Return shipping charges are non-refundable in this case. Green & Roasted Coffee

 

We cannot accept returns on coffee since it is considered to be a food product.

Dan and Thompson work really hard to select the coffees we offer and describe them so that you know what to expect. Still, everyone’s tastes are different, and there are a number of variables in roasting, brewing, and storage that can impact the flavor of your coffee. If you find that the coffee you selected does not match its review, please let us know. We may be able to help! 

 

Shipping Damage & Mistakes

 

Please open and inspect your package as soon as you receive it. If your shipment was damaged in transit or you received incorrect merchandise, please email [email protected] with pictures of relevant materials (packing slip, shipping box, package contents, etc). We will take care of the issue. Damaged merchandise must be reported within two weeks of delivery.

 

Warranties

 

The equipment we sell is intended for home use only. By using a piece of equipment for purposes other than what it was intended for, you will void the manufacturer's warranty. Warranties are non transferable, meaning the resale of any equipment will void the warranty. Warranty information specific to certain products can be found in the ‘Specs’ section on the product page.
