When you need more than one cup of coffee electric brewers are very convenient. The problem with most electric brewers is that that they do not sufficiently heat the water and the resulting coffee is flat, lifeless, and under-extracted. Originally we only carried Technivorm coffee makers, which are handmade brewers from The Netherlands, since they were the only electric brewers we found that reached the correct brewing temperature. In the last few years new manufacturers such as Bonavita, Brazen and Bunn have created brewers that can get within the 195-205° and we were happy to add them to our line-up.
