Blue Chucho Summer Camp Hat

If you come pick up your order at our warehouse, there's a chance you'll suddenly find a medium sized dog (more typically dogs) standing next to you "trying to get pets". What you don't realize is that what they're actually trying to do is herd you around, but that's only natural since these dogs are almost definitely Thompson's Australian cattle dogs. Sometimes people ask if they're specifically Blue Heelers. The short answer is, "Ehh...not quite."

If we're being generous we might call them Blue Chuchos, a "chucho" being a common slang term for dog (oftentimes mutt) in Central America. Regardless of what you want to call them they're definitely goofballs, so it's only fitting then that we have this somewhat silly hat with "Blue Chucho" print. Reminiscent of what you might pick up from the "camp store" on your way home for the summer, the graphic is a colorized version of a dog drawing by Ben Owen (11 yrs old at the time) that's featured on a number of the jute coffee bags we receive.
