Sweet Maria's Oakland Fisherman Hat
You don't have to fish or be from Oakland to make your own shade with this Fisherman Bucket Hat. It's made from 100% cotton twill so it also breathes well and keeps your head cool. We have these in 2 color options to match your style!
I'm not really sure if bucket hats are "in" or not. Who can keep up? All I know is they were 50 years ago and they still do the same thing: keep the sun off your dome.
This "fisherman twill" hat, as the manufacturer Otto Cap calls it, is 100% cotton twill, and has a structured form, meaning it keeps its shape. Of course it's rumpled a bit like all bucket hats. On the front we have embrodered in dark blue thread "Sweet Maria's - Oakland". The green hat is embroidered in light yellow thread. I really like this hat because it covers well but still has a fairly narrow brim. It saves the tops of my ears from the sun, and in fact I have modified them with a strap and wear them in the water for surfing!
These hats are not adjustable, and are available in 1 size, medium, which translates to 22.75 inches fit, 58 cm. I am 22.5 and find the hats stretch a bit in with use (and can shrink if washed since they are cotton). Still it seems pretty forgiving for any size in the general area. (Our other style of bucket hat is available in Med and Large size FYI).
