We find ourselves more and more drawn to handleless cups, which is why you're seeing more and more of them on our store. Although they don't have the same cachet or association with coffee drinking, as do the heavy handled mugs of the world, there's something to be said for not worrying if your fingers will fit. This ceramic cup from Miya Imports was made in Japan and features a Tokusa pattern in shades of blue on both the exterior and along the interior rim. The lip and base are lined with warm bonze-brown color that contrasts the blues and adds a nice accent. Pick this up and people will definitely be asking where you "got that fancy cup."
At 3.25" tall and 3.0" wide, the cup has a total capacity of around 6.5 oz (195 ml), but we think 6 oz (175 ml) is more comfortable capacity. Perfect for splitting a standard 12 oz pour-over or for having an excuse to get up, stretch your legs, and get a refill.
