Stainless Steel Rigid Thermocouple 50mm
This Stainless Steel Rigid Thermocouple plugs into your digital thermometer or other device using a standard thermocouple mini-plug. The plug connects to the measuring end with a 2 meter long cable. The 50 mm x 3 mm probe has M6 (metric size 6) threading and a lock nut at the base to help secure it in place, however you want to mount it.

We went straight to the factory to have this rigid thermocouple made for us. It has a 50 mm long probe which is a good length for various roasting uses, in particular to install it through the side of an air popper used for coffee roasting. The other important detail for us is the narrow 3mm diameter of the probe. This makes the thermocouple more responsive to temperature changes, which is definitely important in coffee roasting.
