Chemex Classic Brewer - 6 Cup

The Chemex was created by the eccentric chemist/inventor Dr. Peter Schlumbohm in 1941 inspired by the Bauhaus school of design and basic laboratory equipment. It is on view at industrial design exhibits in art museums around the world. The sleek glass has a removable wooden neck and leather tie for easy handling and cleaning. Since it is larger than other pour-over filter cones you can easily brew multiple cups.  It is a favorite of Sweet Maria's Staff for its clean design and perfect extraction. When paired with Chemex filters it renders a clean, rich cup and you can vary your extraction with your grind size and pour method. It is easy to clean the non-porous Borosilicate glass which will not absorb odors or chemical residues.

FILTERS: It is important to use Chemex Filters FS-100 other brands of filters don't work well with Chemex because the drip opening is large and your extraction will be watered down.
