This Bonmac dripper is a great classic ceramic filtercone. The single hole design reduces the margin for inconsistency since the brewed coffee drains slowly. You still want to rinse your filter with hot water, as you pre-heat the ceramic, then "pre-wet" the grinds with a minimal amount of water for 30 seconds. After that, you can pour slowly to fill the cone to it's full volume, then add hot water until the correct ratio of water and ground coffee is met. It takes a standard #2 flat bottom cone filter, although you can also use a larger #4 flat bottom cone filter.
