Glass Extension Tube - Fresh Roast SR800/SR540

This extension tube is designed to help users experiencing inadequate voltage. It also allows for lower heat and fan settings to be used in later stages of the roast - whereas we tend to recommend sticking to higher fan/heat settings when roasting on the SR800 alone, the addition of the extension tube can allow for settings in the 1-2 range to be used as the roast progresses. 

Please note: unlike the Glass Extension Tube for the Early SR Models, this extension tube DOES NOT increase batch size. The SR800 is designed to roast 8 oz of green wet-processed coffee beans, with or without the extension tube.  Going above the specified amount of green coffee can run the risk of plugging up the chaff basket and causing a chaff fire. Be sure to keep an eye on the chaff basket for fullness and adjust the bean quantity as needed.  

SR800/SR540 Extension Tube is 10.25" tall.  It comes with high-temperature silicone bands for the bottom and one double lip seal for the midsection.
