Coffee from Panama was once overlooked and underrated, but not any longer. That perception was changed in part by the Best of Panama competition, which attracts global competition for the best lots, garnering spectacular prices. The Gesha cultivar from small Panamanian estates are highly sought after and has lavished heaps of attention on Panaman, with its floral top notes, has also lavished heaps of attention to Panama's coffee production in general.
