Coffee seeds, not for roasting, but for growing your own coffee plants! Each packet contains 4 coffee seeds in parchment.
-Limit 1 Pack Per Customer-
Coffee seeds are a bit different than the green coffee beans we roast. Green coffee beans for roasting are dried to 10-11% moisture and have the parchment layer removed. Whereas coffee seeds are best with the parchment layer intact and above 20% moisture. So that's exactly what we have here: a little packet of 4 seeds with parchment that Tom collected from a recent trip to Rwanda. Each packet contains red bourbon seeds from Kageyo, Rwanda.
Plant the coffee seeds in a terracotta pot, 1 inch deep in moist potting soil. Allow soil to dry between watering weekly. Takes 8-12 weeks to germinate!
These are intended as a fun add-on to your next order, not to be purchased standalone. The least expensive shipping option we offer is the flat rate padded envelope, so add a few pounds of green coffee to fill it out!
