Whether you are able to measure bean temperature, or hot air temperature, you can use a basic thermometer\/thermocouple probe to make notes and, ideally, reproduce roast results. With the low price of this unit, it’s a great low cost way to add temperature measurement to your roast method. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut … and this is a big but (lol), \u003cem\u003ethis only reads in Celsius scale\u003c\/em\u003e, so you need to put on your metric hat to use it. (Yes I tried, they don’t make a Fahrenheit version). Exactly how you do that, and whether you will be able to probe the beans directly, or the ambient roast chamber temperature is something to figure out though!
