This was our test model, so it has been lightly used and the box was recycled.


The Esatto is a scale that attaches to your your Baratza Maestro Plus, Encore, Virtuoso or Preciso grinder. This allows you to grind precise dosages of coffee using real-time weight-based control. It's pretty easy to set up. All you need is a screwdriver to remove the back. Your grinder's power cord gets coiled under the Esatto's back panel and plugs into an internal outlet. A plastic piece holds the timer/on-off switch in the "on" position. Here's the link to the downloadable manual... http://www.baratza.com/manuals/


Now, unless you use the pulse button on the front of the grinder, the burrs will only be activated by the Esatto. Your grinds fall into a canister that sits on the Esatto's scale and weight determines when the grinder shuts off.


It remembers 3 different dose amounts.


It’s footprint is 12 1/4" long by 5 1/4" wide and adds about 1" overall height to the grinder.


Keep in mind that the Esatto is just a scale that works with your grinder. It doesn't grind coffee.
