We really like the style and durability of these Palermo cups made by Italian porcelain company, Nuova Point. They are bar-ware (espresso bar ware) and not fine porcelain. There may be some imperfections in the glaze; these are functional items, not museum-ware!

They come in traditional reddish-brown color with white interiors, are vitrified porcelain with incredibly thick (3/8" side walls) and very strong. Once heated, they do a great job of preventing heat loss.
Sturdy and thick-walled.

The cup stands 2¼" tall by itself and 2½" when on it's saucer.
