This is Bodum's double-walled glass mug, similar to the Pavina and Assam models, but with a handle. This mug has a 4.7 ounce capacity. Bodum calls it an "espresso" size ... that's one big espresso! We call it "medium." We really like this smaller size and would recommend using it as a regular coffee cup.

The insulated properties of this heat-tempered borosilicate glass keep your hand comfortable, and improve heat retention slightly. Really, it's about visual appeal, and in that regard these are my favorite cups for brewed coffee.  The Bistro mug won the 2007 iF Product Design Awards. They are dishwasher and microwave safe.
