Roasted coffee starts to stale soon after the resting/degassing period so storage is important. We sell bags and tins with valves for degassing and keeping out the oxygen. We sell cotton bags for green coffee though green coffee also stores well in the plastic bags we ship them in. For more information: green coffee storage and roasted coffee storage.
Please note, we do not sell bags or containers wholesale or fill orders with bags or containers only! I don't like imposing this rule but we are trying to serve our home-roasting customers by offering bags, and not to become a bag supplier. If you place an order for all bags and/or containers - we will notify you that we are canceling the order and will not be able to ship it. There are other bag suppliers on the net - we are not one of them!
We think these little tins are a great for conveniently dosing the correct amount of coffee each time you brew. Just weigh your coffee, dose the desired amount into a few tins and just toss a tin's worth into your grinder whenever you want to brew. They will cut down on oxygen exposure as you won't be opening a bag or container on a daily basis.
The AirScape does a great job at keeping your roasted coffee fresh. Press the inner seal down to the level of your coffee, and push out most of the flavor-killing oxygen. The clear top lid also makes a seal and has a one-way degassing valve. It's also good for brown sugar, cookies, tea, etc. It's a great choice for storing larger amounts of coffee.
This tin is a great alternative to plastic valve bags. It offers the same level of protection with a lot more durability. A flexible plastic insert seals the lid, forcing CO2 from roasted coffee out the valve on the bottom. CO2 will push out O2 in the process.Learn More$4.65
