We have Filtropa and Bamboo V-shaped paper filters, Chemex filters, conical filters, as well as permanent filters. Wondering what filter you need? If you are using a Chemex, Chemex fitlers work best. For your standard Malita style, V-shape filtercones like the Clever Coffee, Bonavita, Bonmac #2, Bee House Dripper, the oxygenated Filtropas or Bamboo Bonmac filters are the way to go. Cylindrical filtercones like the Bonmac V-shaped Plastic Dripper, Hario V60 Ceramic Drip Cone work with the Hario V Shaped Filters. Visit out Brewing Fundmentals page and Tip Sheet for Drip Brewing for brewing tips and information.
We think these #1 sized Brown Filtropa filters are the the highest-quality paper filters for cone-type brewers. They don't impart much paper taste and are very sturdy. They are far superior to the standard, flimsy Melitta filters that have busted at the seams on many occasions. The filter is bonded without the use of any glues or chemicals, and the unbleached paper stock is certified dioxin-free. Each box contains 100 filters.

These filters are specifically designed for Chemex brewers, these fit all Chemex models except the small 3 Cup size. We really recommend Chemex filters for your brewer, and the Chemex type (pre-folded squares) are only pennies more than standard filters. I like the square pre-folded best because they are strong, and when it comes time to toss the filter (into your compost, of course!) they do not fall apart. The square type give you neat "handholds" on the corner.Learn More$7.50
The Kantan Single-Use Dripper is a good choice for folks who like to bring their coffee with them but don't have the space or patience to pack their trusty ceramic dripper. It has a nice wide opening that makes it easy to pour grinds into it. The tabs on the side hold onto the rim of your cup and fit onto most cups with a diameter between 2" and 4". Each package has a zip-lock style seal and contains 30 drippers.Learn More$10.00
The Aeropress doesn't really require any upgrades. The stock paper filters are inexpensive, work well, and a stack of them lasts a long, long time. But I was excited anyway to check out the Disk.
I did the ultimate field test on the Disk: I took it to Ethiopia and Kenya on a coffee buying trip. I brewed coffee in hotels, guest houses, roadside restaurants in rural towns ... everywhere! What I noticed was that it produced a clean cup, without too much sediment that can distract from the cup flavors and add bitterness in the aftertaste.Learn More$12.50
We are happy with the lack of paper taste when brewing with these #4 filters from Bonmac. We poured hot water through a dry one and tasted the water after it cooled. The taste was pretty much unnoticeable. If you fold the seams and pre-rinse before you brew, you can expect a filter that will produce great coffee and not break. The sustainability of bamboo is a great reason to use these but the fact they don't taste like cheap, brown paper towels is an even better one.
There are 100 filters per pack.Learn More$8.75
This replacement HandyBrew filter is the same filter that comes with the small HandyBrew. If you lose or break your filter, you don't have to buy a brand new brewer. It comes with both the top and bottom pieces
Do you have an older model HandyBrew? This filter will fit...and it's gonna be stronger...and your cup will have a tad less sediment in it.
This filter will not fit the the large HandyBrew.Learn More$15.00
The Kalita Wave is one of the preferred drippers amongst the Sweet Maria's office staff. Why do they make such a great cup of coffee? One theory is the filters provide a lot a lot of surface area for coffee to filter out along the sides. As far as we know, these are the only filters that will work with the Wave and other Kalita #185 size brewers. You could probably fold a normal sized flat bottom filter into there but it will more than likely not work as well.
Each pack contains 100 filters.Learn More$13.00
These are well-crafted 23 carat gold-plated inert filters. With a good grinder, you can produce great coffee and never buy disposable paper filters again. Be sure to adjust your grind setting a little more coarse than a paper filter setting to avoid too much sediment.
Coffee brewed with these gold filters has a heavier body as more oils and particulates are allowed into the cup, yet they they produce clean coffee with a reduced amount of "mud" at the bottom of your mug. Expect the results to be a balance between a paper filter brew and a french press.Learn More$35.00
Chemex filters are designed specifically for your Chemex brewers. They are 20-30% heavier than standard filters and filter out the finest sediment but also slows down infusion time rendering a super clean cup with good body. It is great for filter for coffees with floral and delicate notes. These are the half moon filters so they require some folding as seen above. There are 100 in a box.Learn More$7.50
The Kone is a stainless steel conical filter designed for your Chemex brewer. This is a true conical shape - not like a #4 filter that is a cone with a flat bottom. You can also use it with other brewers that take cone-shaped filters, like the Hario V-60, but it may not fit as well as it does in a Chemex. It works with the 6, 8 and 10 cup Chemex brewers and does a fair job of mimicking the extraction of a paper filter and eliminates having to throw away a filter after every brew.Learn More$60.00
