Me in the middle of a Maragogype forest. The height of these trees is
truly remarakable for arabica coffees... an average Catuai is about head
high, a Bourbon can be 10 feet, but these Maragogype trees are 15 to 20.
This farm, La Alianza, is a bit low in elevation at 900 meters. It is
an old farm, on fairly flat ground meaning it is easier for the workers
to harvest cherry and such ... but I am so used to visiting farms on steep,
steep slopes that flatland coffee trees seem odd to me.
