Sweet Maria's featured in home roasting ibook

We had a film crew come by a few months ago to shoot a feature on our business. The footage they shot is now part of a very informative ibook for ipad that would be great for someone getting started home roasting or someone who wants to improve their home brewing skills.

Click here for the promo video, the link to the book in the ibookstore and a chance to win a few home roasting/brewing items from us.

Four new additions

Guatemala Finca La Esmeralda Red Bourbon has well integrated acidity, great balance and creamy body. Nicaragua Maracaturra - Finca El Naranjal is a unique, large bean varietal with black walnut roast tones and brisk lemon tea accents. Ethiopia Nano Challa "Eid Al-Adha" is a complex cup with white honey, Dutch cocoa, and a weighty mouthfeel. Sumatra Onan Ganjang Cultivar has cherry cola and sarsaparilla fading to cocoa bitterness; syrupy body and dark fruits round out this excellent Sumatra lot.

Celebrate the weekend with a new Ethiopia and Nicaragua

We've listed two great new coffees going into the weekend: Ethiopia Dry Process Saris Abaya is heavily fruited with a blend of berries and spice, and healthy doses of chocolate. This coffee has a "weighty" body and silky mouthfeel. Our other offering is Nicaragua Dipilto Cielo Azul , and has an almond nuttiness to it, with butterscotch and honey. Expect more offerings from Central America in the coming weeks.
